Sea Kayak Gordon Brown Book 3 months 3 weeks ago #16368

Doing a clear out,

I have this book available - free to a good home. Perhaps may be of interest to someone who is starting out in sea kayaking. It's in good condition.

It's available to collect from my house in Bray. Send me an email or text if interested. Details in the members section.

Hi Barney,
Perhaps you would like to donate the book to the ECSKC Library? We are in the process of updating the library online. All the items will be available for our members to borrow.
Thanks,
Robin,
Librarian ECSKC

Hi Robin, I tried to send you a private email but I don't seem to be able to do it through the website, so here goes.

Geraldine would like to read the book - I will give it to her to read and then when she has finished she will donate to the library. Best of all worlds!

Kind regards,

Hi Robin,

Ahead of your post, I replied to Barney asking for the book and noted that I would donate it to the library after reading.

Actually, it might be a kick start to an active and thriving library. I could be the first person lending this book, and a pilot tester on process.

From previous experience on clubs with lots of specialist books, where the library falls down is ease of access. My suggestion is to make the contents of the library available online, and allow folks to check in/out books at meets.

Happy to help with this.

Regards, Geraldine.
