  • Don’t unnecessarily disturb wildlife especially nesting birds & chicks in season.
  • Use plastic drink containers rather than glass. (Please tie them on to your kayak don’t just rely on the bungie cord.)
  • Don’t light fires, except below the HW Mark.
  • Take home all your rubbish. (Consider leaving the place better than you found it by taking home some flotsam from the tide line as well.
  • Most of our meets are in populated areas on the East Coast where urinating/defecation is likley to offend. Please be considerate of others especially local residents.
  • Think ahead and do your business at home.
  • Find a public convienience, most small public harbours have one.
  • Find a secluded spot away from public view, below the high water mark.
  • Bring a "doggy bag" to "take away" if needs must and BRING IT HOME. Don’t leave this in the public rubbish bin.

Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints and a few ripples !
