HI all,
We have had a good take up for the pool sessions in the new year but we can allow a few more members to subscribe.

We have the pool booked for 10 consecutive Tuesday nights at the Clondalkin Leisure Centre beginning on 7 Jan. - 11 March at 9:00p.m-10:00pm. The total cost to attend all the sessions is €30.00
You can now book and pay online.

Terms
1. All users must be members of both East Coast Sea Kayaking Club and the Irish Canoe Union, for insurance reasons.
2. If you are bringing your own boat to the sessions, you must thoroughly clean it inside and out. You need to hose and scrub both the inside and the outside, paying particular attention to remove leaves, snails and other flora and fauna from under the seat. The three club boats, decks and paddles will be available free of charge, but priority will be given to those who don't own a boat.

3. The sessions are likely to be very busy at times. There will be a maximum of 12 boats in the pool at one time. On busy weeks, you may need to take turns to ensure that everyone gets time in the pool.
Unused weeks are not transferrable between individuals. We think the price is extremely competitive even if you don't use all of the 10 weeks.
4. The club exists and benefits enormously from the generosity of experienced paddlers assisting the inexperienced so that they learn and in time may give back to the club. If you have the capability to assist others to learn, please give a part of your time in the pool each week to helping others.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN OLD POSTING, MORE THAN A YEAR OUT OF DATE. IT REFERS TO THE 2014 SESSIONS HELD EARLY THIS YEAR, NOT THE NEW SESSIONS PLANNED FOR 2015. TOM MAGUIRE

Thanks Tom for the message must have been the fog of the xmas cheer.
The question still stands re the lessons from Deep Blue or the Availability of Boats.
Thanks,
Colm

As far as I know, Des has retired and moved to Leitrim, so unless he has someone running the business in Dublin, unlikely that he'll be running pool sessions. It might be worth checking the Deep Blue website. Any arrangement from the commercial providers is entirely to one side of the ECSKC Sessions, so best to check with them directly. Re club boat, please contact the Quartermaster, Ray Gillen. Tom
