East Coast Sea Kayaking Club

The Dublin Bay Sea Kayak Race is due to go ahead this Sunday, 18th September 2011. The venue is changed to Bray Sailing Club as thay have kindly offered us rescue boats and use of their club house facilities. As the Wind is forecast is F5/6 NW, the event is suitable only for Touring and Racing Classes. There will be no Novice or Sit on class races. The courses will closely follow the coast line to avoid the strongest of the wind and will be tightly marshalled.

Registration at Bray Sailing Club in the harbour is from 10 until 11 am and races are due to start at 12:00. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided to all in the sailing club afterwards. Shower facilities also available.

Plenty of parking available at locally.

There are lots of prizes for all classes.

We plan to be done and dusted in plenty of time for all to get home in time for the match.
