- The promotion of sea kayaking in all its forms.
- To organise and assist in promoting recreational Sea Kayaking events.
- To facilitate new members’ entry to the sport by the provision of equipment for rent.
- To provide and supply information and advice to members by means of books, periodicals, equipment (boats available for rental) and other methods.
- To provide services to members to facilitate where possible the sport and recreation of sea kayaking.
- To organise a weekly meet in the Winter months and a twice weekly trip in the summer months, generally local and led by experienced club members.
- To encourage the development and growth of the membership though facilitating training and assessment with the Irish Canoe Union (ICU)
- To encourage the development and growth of the membership though an ongoing mentoring and trip leader program.
- To undertake all our activities with the safety of our members of foremost importance.
- To practice our sport in a fashion which respects the environment both on shore and off shore.
